Victorian wedding dresses are elegant, simple and modest. They were in high fashion in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, and are now considered a classic wedding dress. The following features make them unique.

Get on Google.com Advanced Search, plug in "image" on the top line and "Queen Victoria wedding gown" on the phrase line. You’ll see links to quite a few sites showing wedding gowns of that era. Queen Victoria helped start several trends, such as the all-white gown and the veil.
Those wedding gowns had lots and lots of lace, wide necklines, sleeves, and heavy, full skirts. A body-shaping corset was worn underneath, which pushed the bosom upwards and pulled in the waist as small as possible.
I think that a gown of that style would be a nice choice.

Realize that Victoria ruled for some 60 years or so. That means you have a lot to choose from since what was in style for 1850 was way way passe in 1880.
Perhaps the most outstanding (pun!) feature of later victorian fashion was the bustle. Supposedly you were to be able to balance a dinner plate on the back of a lady’s bustle.
It’ll be a lovely dress no matter what the era.
